Holy shit! 2800 calories a day ? What the hell do you do man ? AFAIK, Jogging/Running for 30 mins burns about 300 calories..

Well running in morning with some abs exercises, swimming 1 hour with 2-2.5 hours workout in evening... + I use only stairs now

Thats been for 3 weeks now.....

^^ Are you an employee or have your own firm, may I ask ? I don't think a 9-5 person can manage that kind of exercise schedule !

^^wow man. aiming to be the next muscal man ???

Even I am trying to lose weight. Just that I am having one proper meal (lunch)

and rest I have replaced by spouts, fruits, corn flakes, fresh juice etc. And I do

yog and cycling to keep the energy high. Have lost around 1.5 inches from my

waist and need to lose another 4 in next 2 months.

The biggest loser wins (know its not original but who cares :p)

wow @ ronniegogs ! You really plan things out ! I also wake up on some days to go play something in the morning, but its not regular. Am very lazy to do exercising just for the sake of it. However, I do go trekking / climbing / cycling regularly. Daily exercise is usually taken care of cycling to and fro to the office :p, plus a bit of crunches and pull ups / push ups when I feel like it :p

@motorheadinc -- I just want to run this year's Mumbai Marathon (maybe the half marathon) :p.... My dream to complete atleast 1 full marathon someday..... :)

@mallik -- I am just lucky i don't have a crazy work schedule...or a very long commute :)

Can you share your diet plan over here?

I was talking bout gogs dude.

I just plan to get fit. Have a decent height (6 feet) and broad build.

My diet plan is simple. Prepare your breakfast and dinner. You will burn some

calories while doing it and also feel full when you eat it . Make it the way you

like if you know cooking (I do).

Breakfast : I generally have cornflakes + half liter milk straight from pouch.

Lunch: Office food (Include salads and curd on daily basis)

Dinner: Fruits or boiled sprouts.

Treat yourself on weekend with good food (make it a treat and DONT have a

full chocolate cake all by yourself). It may delay the process of getting fit

but will keep you motivated.

Avoid Coffee and Tea, Have buttermilk instead. The sugar in coffee and tea

generally goes unnoticed by most people but it adds lots of calories.

remember measure inches and NOT weight. I have thick bones so I will never

reach the "SO Called" Ideal weight for my height.

All the best for your weight loss. Better keep on posting in this thread to

keep a track of the fat loss.

Thanks Mate. More or less my case fits yours. Stand 6 feet and weight around 85kgs. Even though I'm overweight by 5 kgs, the flab is unevenly distributed. Deciding on diet and exercise plan this weekend after visiting a doctor and will post in this thread about the progress.
