There were 2 preview drivers released. The second one resolved the issues with RAGE. 11.10 Version 2 Preview driver.

I think I got the first one. But the performance issues are still persistent. Disabling V-Sync took care of the in-game stuttering, but screen tearing really puts me off, so I guess it's completely useless for me.

Did not bother tinkering much. Disabled SSAO/HBAO as it seemed to take a big performance hit. :ashamed:

So upping the AF doesn't affect the performance is it?

Why AF set to 1x..you could 16x without any drops..And set AO to SSAO its a lil less taxing..

Done with the campaign. Felt it to be pretty short. There were 12 chapters and I must have clocked somewhere around 6~7 hours on the Normal difficulty. But I am really impressed with the game. DICE's Frostbite 2 engine clearly stands out. The insane lighting effects in the game takes the cake! :O

The plot of the SP campaign was actually pretty good with the inclusion of all the QTE elements and vehicular combat. The F/A-18F Super Hornet gameplay - possibly the best chapter in the entire game! Right from the moment she takes off from the aircraft carrier till she lands. Do not take my word for it. Experience it yourself!

Well put. Thats a mirror image of my thoughts on the game.

The cut scenes are brilliant. Story is interesting.

If you've ever played IAF, USAF flying and shooting can be tedious. Specially for noobs. Therefore pillion its not a bad pace to be in the sortie m mission.

since most of the story is based on cities being nuked, I really don't know how they could have made our any less restrictive.

I enjoyed this more than bfbc2 sp.

Its seriously intense all the time. But the one thing that purists, traditionalists will not like is the almost COD cross Bad Company gameplay. I loved it though. Campaign length was short and sweet. I honestly do not remember half of bfbc2 or moh campaigns.

Its clear that with BF3 you'll have more memorable moments which you will long for when the next shooters come out.
