I have maintained a list of Favorites for the servers where I could play without much lag. Use the filters, set region to Asia and Europe and sort by ping.

Same here. Whenever i see a server with green ping i will add it to list of fav.
When Indian servers were alive I even used to see ping 40-50. Greenery everywhere. Now it's over.
Guys, why doesn't anyone here ever play on hardcore servers? Till now all the games I have played with everyone on TE, each and every one has been on a normal server! More damage, no 3D spotting, no HUD & no crosshair....hardcore is much more challenging and enjoyable!

most of the time I played on hardcore 64p conquest server, esp in open maps, the moment you peek out you'll be killed
in 64p HC TDM, there will not even be time to breathe.
32p HC is good. will be very enjoyable if there is a good medic in your squad.

Hardcore servers are good hunting grounds for aggressive snipers, the one hit one kill guarantee makes for some good sniper kills.

I guess I am lucky then!I use BSNL too and ping varies from 100-120ms to bf3 Singapore servers. But the sad part is I can't play now!

I have did it a few times initially. and forget it if there's a competent heli pilot+gunner in the enemy team

Well, yeah 64 does seem a little crowded but I guess it feels the same in normal as well. Most of the time when I play at night I'm in a party with friends and we all play together in the same squad so there is good co-ordination and we pick different classes so it turns out to be good fun. As for the sniping, the M98B (the most powerful sniper) does 95 dmg with with a 2x multiplier for headshots and 1.05x for chest shots so u can kill in 1 shot in normal servers as well, provided you get a good shot in. At maximum range however the M98B does 59 damage and since our health in hardcore is 60 that still leaves the enemy with 1 hp, meaning it can take 2 shots to kill in hardcore as well with the most powerful sniper. Same is the case with the SV98, L96 & M40A5 snipers which have damages of 80 & 85 with multipliers of 2x for headshots and 1.25 for chest shots. I'm not sure about the M39R (semi-auto sniper unlocked by playing co-op), I will have to confirm.
I am getting 95-125ms max depending on the time and server load on all the singapore servers and they all are pretty good servers imo...

it wont affect pings. it will only help if you are getting disconnected from EA online frequently.

No, it doesn't help. Only thing that can help is contacting your ISP for latency issues.
