say u tried in d evening n this was how it was ..

if u are caught make an excuse little kids drop things n dont tel.. blah blah

but definately dont bust up the seller on ebay or smthin.. u dropped it n its ur fault...
 
Guys,

Just spoke to the seller, they are ready to take the camera back, inspect it. Not sure if they will replace it though.

Anyways, so if I ship this thing back to him, do I open a dispute in ebay or something else? As otherwise I will not have any proof that I had shipped the cam back to the dealer.

Be a lil honest atleast :) i mean , when you really know its not a sellers fault so why spoil his reputation simply at all....
 
Who is spoiling their reputation? I simply asked what to do in such a case as I won't have any proof of sending the cam back to him.
 
Any case try the RMA first..Infact try today only , play dumb, if it does not succeed, then check the cost of repairs if it is too much then ship it back and see..
 
C'on......be honest.....we rant about traders cheating us......and we are party to such things ourselves........?.......

Deepak........just go the normal way.....ask the trader if he knows how the LCD can be repaired.........or visit the service center.

Dont attract bad karma :P
