well.. it aint for 250usd here either. it retails for arnd 6k ish odd. which i think is a real good price considering what you paid for it.
but then.. you guys DO have MIR's.. currently its for 120-40MIR at newegg
Yea I got from bestbuy was on sale back then, but MIR's actually arn't as lucrative as they sound, sometimes they will come back in like 3 months, sometimes they wont. Out of I think 8 rebates that I have sent 4 have come back the rest dint, and some companies like OCZ have terms such as - you have to send the rebate in 12days from ur ORDER DATE, so just in case u order on a friday night, it comes to u say on thursday, you almost lost a week, and it wont get postmarked by monday, and losing a day or 2 is easy. So most probably you lost it already. I have had this with my laptop memory, they said it was late and it actually wasn't, I was so pissed, I had to email them couple of times before they accepted that they will process it. So its mostly a PITA with MIR's.

Antec 900 is 6k here i.e $140. Anyway, I kinda didnt like the design and layout of that cabby. It doesnt look as spacious a my current Jamaica cabby (which has the exact same interior as the Silverstone TJ-05).
Didnt care much for Antec P180/190 either. But I am in love with the Antec 1200.
Its a well though out cabby in my opinion, You can use it as it is, or you can mod it like hell. 9 well spaced and ventilated HDD bays and 3 more 5.25 inch bays, thats the kind of expandability I am looking for.
Only the price is a bit too high. $150~160 (7k) would be a very nice price point for it. Anyway, I think I will wait for it unless I suddenly get the urge to get one of those stackers. :ashamed:
I would agree for you Antec 1200 would be a better choice, I dont have too many hdd's infact just one, and I would prolly add 2 more, 1 for raid and another one for regular stuff, btw many people here have modded the antec 900 a lot
Antec 900 Build Log UPDATE 5/28/08 WOOOOOOT Sub 50*C Load Temp On Air!!!! New Pics!!! - EXTREME Overclocking Forums
But if you can get the 1200 , I would say go for it!, I just checked its like $215 here on newegg
And what I meant with $250 was, that I dint pay 250 for my cabi hence I got what I paid for. I would say for $130 its pretty good for
my needs, I got to better the cable management and I think the temps would drop a little more. For $250 there are a lot of good choices on newegg, however I dint have the dough to pay for that kind of case.
