Best IEM under 10k for fun bass listening

Wavelet Works just fine in the Androids I've tried and a wide variety of DACs

I was looking for tws under 3000. Use case: mostly during daily walks, sometimes during travels. First thought of going for Moondrop Space Travel. But it seems to have subpar features apart from the excellent sound. Also low volume seems to be an issue for a lot of folks. Then looked at QCY HT05. But a review said its tuning changes when the anc is off. Becomes more bright and a bit metallic.

Would getting something like CMF Buds Pro and using Wavelet along with it be a viable option? The CMF tws have a typical bass heavy slight v tuning I think. Not a big fan of that. I'm currently using Tangzu Waner and would like something closer to it.

Yes

Select your earphones. Then choose the equaliser app. On android it will be wavelet. It then will give you eq settings to import into wavelet that match a target. In your case there is one by DHRME.

In this way you 'auto eq' your headphone or any other going by their really extensive list

I recently acquired a 7hz legato and its amazing. Not sure it will match your tastes, but it does have bass by the spades. worth a listen

I ended up getting the Sony WF-C500 a couple of weeks ago. Used wavelet and tried different targets from auto eq. Everything working great. I also tried the one uploaded on squiglink but it seems to be incorrect. Messes things up quite a bit.

I was considering the CMF Buds Pro but didnt trust the driver really. Also the eq changes with the anc so thats another bummer. Skullcandy Dime 3 also seems to be a good shout for sound quality and auto eq under 3k. Has good ratings from rtings.

Funny you should bring that up.

I returned the Blon Z300 that I got. I was impressed at first but somehow it felt muffled.

I returned it and got the 7hz Legato. And Omg. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I also got myself the Fosi Audio K5 Pro Gaming DAC for my desktop. And also got the V-moda Crossfade LP2 for the desktop. So I am now using the 7hz Legato and the Qudelix 5K exclusively as my mobile audio.

The Legato is super fun and the bass is rattling and it goes well with all my music. Also rewatching Mandalorians because of this. It's awesome.

The Vmoda is also a bass monster. This month has been expensive for me but am quite happy with my choices.
