Best method to apply Arctic Cooling MX-2

I'm not sure which thermal paste they have used in that guide. A thin TIM can easily be spread with any application method, but MX2 is actually a thick paste. After a lot of my attempts, only the "credit card method" seemed the best for MX2. Me too waiting for MX2 as my old one got over.

Thats very strange, From what i heard, MX-2 is the easiest one to apply :S

AS5 is 2X thicker. Even TX-2 is bit thicker than MX-2.

You can check that for yourself. It may look thin, but when applying you will see how irritating it is to apply, especially when evenly spreading it. Yeah, it's no as think as OCZ Freeze and many others. The point is the credit card method works well with this TIM.
