Hi, Selling my barely 3 moth old Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm, purchased from Headphonezone. It is in perfect condition and has been used for less than 10 hours total. Selling it because I am shifting to a fully wireless setup.

Price is 2k less than what you can get online. Very nice and comfy pair of cans

Super interested in this. Weighing this with some other options out there but really interested for a stuido monitoring type setup with these cans.

I am still unsure. It's between this, Sony MDR-7506, and HD 560S. The reason I mention these names is I need something for editing, mixing music so I want it treble-high and reference standard. I have already owned M40Xs. I don't want M50X, it's too V-shaped. But this DT 770 is quite a great sound signature from that standpoint. It is quite neutral but with a bit more emphasized low end and high end. So that's why deciding between these.

Aren't the HD560S Open back ? Wont that defeat the purpose for mastering considering you would need some sound isolation atleast. Won't the HD280 Pro be a better competitor ?

Yes, but I've heard them, they are also the most detailed open backs. I am mainly looking for detail. Nothing is missed on that one too. It's the same case for DT 770 and DT 990 even. 990 is open back but very detailed for mixing due to its treble range.
 
Bump. Looking to sell off to local buyer for a similar amount. Need funds for WC 2022 tickets
