OMG! This game is a LOT bigger and has so much more span than I thought! o_o Now for the excruciating wait!

Holy crap! The soundtracks are being composed by Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe!

They are continuing where Normand Corbeil left off. Corbeil who had composed David Cage's Heavy Rain had won a BAFTA award for his work. He had passed away last January due to pancreatic cancer.

There is no "game over" in Beyond: Two Souls – the screen never fades to black, there's no inspirational quote in sight, and, most importantly to creator David Cage, the story doesn't come to a complete stop.

"I've always felt that 'game over' is a state of failure more for the game designer than from the player," Cage told me at Gamescom. "It's like creating an artificial loop saying, 'You didn't play the game the way I wanted you to play, so now you're punished and you're going to come back and play it again until you do what I want you to do.' In an action game, I can get that – why not? It's all about skills. But in a story-driven experience it doesn't make any sense."

Due to some reason the activity on this exclusive has really touched its low point

Headsup people!

The prices have been jacked up by 500 Rs! Flipkart and Game4U have revised their pricing to 3499 from 2999/-. Snapdeal seems to be sleeping and haven't changed their pricing yet. Not sure when the prices were changed but maybe the $ situation is to blame here.

Now may be a good time to place a preorder from Snapdeal if anyone is planning to purchase it.

Preordered the title from Snapdeal. Either, they will stick to their word and deliver the game when it launches or they will refund that amount after increasing the price to 3.5k as the others have done. Let’s see how this goes.

I recall Intencity had asked us to deposit an additional amount when Uncharted 3 prices were hiked by the distris pan-India.

How was it?

Sorry for the delay, as I wasn't able to play the demo earlier. I got around playing it yesterday, twice might I add. In a true Quantic Dream fashion, this was truly amazing. The demo doesn't give you much to work with, but it's more of a controls explanation and the sequences are mostly taken from the demos we have seen in E3. This game has the best facial animation rendering I have seen till date. It's crisply detailed and very fluid. The only part which really bugged me was the use of black bars. These bars occupy a great deal of screen space, thus giving the game a movie like feel. I hope they take them off in the full game. The storyline seems very intriguing and the way the demo played out, it seems the game doesn't stop. What I mean by that is, if you fail a QTE, Jodie gets caught and the game still continues. There is no checkpoint, so to speak. I failed quite a few QTEs in my first play-through (being new to the control scheme) and it led me to different set of events. When I went for a second play-through, I managed to get most of the crucial ones correctly and couldn't believe me eyes as to how dramatically different it played out. Heck, I missed one entire sequence because of my initial mistake. This has raised my anticipation level even more now. Let's hope we get a taste of this game soon enough.

Completed the demo and i have mixed feelings about this.
The controls are simple but sometimes they are good sometimes pathetic. Too much cinematic controls i don't like. Even the instructions are not properly given. No waypoint marker either. There is one jungle scene where you have to dodge the police and dogs. I don't know if that was scripted but i could not find any way to escape them.
Btw I am not sure if i am correct but it seems in this game getting caught is actually a good thing. You get a shortcut to avoid some stupid QTE events and land up straight under police custody. The next thing is easy just get out & continue normally.:D

Don't know about the story but the music surely fits the situation.

You can escape them. The point where you see the police with their flashlights, just hit the opposite direction and you'll approach rocky spot. This should allow you to scale the rocks (again in a QTE sequence), follow it correctly and you dodge those cops. Follow them incorrectly and well, I think you already know what happens next.

Each scenario plays out differently. That's the beauty of it. For instance, I played the demo nearly 3 times and each time I successfully got the failed QTEs correctly, I saw a different reaction. For instance, in the train sequence, I was always failed the slow-mo QTEs and got caught. I then figured out a way to just break the window using Aiden in the final bogey of the train and head on the rooftop. This leads to a confrontation with the cops following Jodie on the rooftop of the train and eventually ends with her jumping off the train with Aiden's help. You'll land up in the exact same spot (the Forrest), except in a different manner.

The only way you'll know what you missed on a failed QTE situation is if you re-do that part. I agree that it doesn't offer you much of direction to completing your objective, but if you have played previous Quantic Dream games, then it's more or less similar pattern. You carry the game in the direction you want.

^^ Those QTE prompts are pathetic.Sometimes they are not on the screen, if you move the camera up or sideways then only you will notice it. However one thing i admit the demo had me hooked till the end. After that i never felt of re-playing it.:D

Whew! Finished the game in a single sitting. Took me close to 12 hours to complete and loved every bit of it. Trust me, the game is absolutely amazing. Can't recall the last time I was so hooked to any game. I can't give away too much of plot information, as that might turn out out to be a spoiler. Gameplay wise, if you have played, Heavy Rain, you are in familiar territory. The only real change is taking control of Aiden to be able to perform additional interactive tasks.

Ellen Page deserves the best voice actor (Female) award for this year. Not only was her voice so well placed, but the facial animation that Quantic Dream created in this game. was extremely life-like. Thus making every emotion count. Speaking of which, the visuals in this game has probably pushed a lot of boundaries on the PS3's hardware. It's insane how much effort was placed to make this game highly realistic on such an aged out console. There were a few noticeable frame drops, but nothing which would hamper the game in anyway. The soundtrack was, as always, top notch.

The only thing which I feel Quantic Dream could have rectified was the aspect ratio used for this game, which resulted in black bars. Also, the format in which the chapters were laid out were completely out of place. They should have presented it in a chronological order. Last but not the least, for f*ck's sake, get rid of the shaking controller (up/down or sideways) out of the QTE sequences, it's just not fun. It's a miracle how my PS3 controller has survived all this abuse. Just stick to the one button press system and we'll be just fine.

That being said, I loved Heavy Rain, though this game couldn't match the same level with it's storyline, it was still a great experience.

Nah man, this was an exceptional situation. The game played out like a movie and I didn't want to break the flow, so decided to complete it in one go. Loaded the game at 3:00PM and wound up at 3:00AM. It's one of the perks of playing a Quantic Dream game. Gosh, I still remember how much time I spent playing Fahrenheit back in the PS2 days. Suffice to say, you guys are going to have great time with it.
