The wait will be worth it. This is the only year where there are games just queuing up for GOTY. This might make into the PS3's category, but we all know the top contender (and probable winner) is The Last of Us. It doesn't matter though. Just like Heavy Rain, this needs to be played.

Reviews are out and like i had suspected from the demo its just maybe one time playable game. Reviews are mixed.

so i was doing some research and i am happy to find that there are people who agrees with me that Indigo Prophecy not only has lousy controls but has a stupid story as well. Not only that but david cage is one of the worst writers in the industry. I still don't know how i had completed the crap called "Indigo Prophecy". I am still not interested in heavy rain and i am not sure if i will ever play this (thread title) crap game.

Completed the title yesterday. Let me pen down my impressions.
It has been a mixed bag compared to what Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit had to offer. Heavy Rain had raised the bar so high it was nearly impossible for QD and Cage to bring about anything phenomenal in terms of the narrative-driven gameplay or storytelling. Midway through the game, I felt it to be a lot boring with Jodie just being an errand girl. The concluding parts and the ending was amazing - very emotional and heart wrenching. Both the primary actors - Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page played their respective roles well (mocap and voice acting including) but I always felt there was something missing between these guys. Even Ryan for that matter, who comes into the scene later and suddenly develops a strong bond with Jodie (depending on how the choices are made i.e.). OSTs were good but minimal, typical of a Cage game. You will always remember that one track when you think of this game (ditto for Heavy Rain!). When Normand Corbeil expired due to cancer midway through the development of the game, Lorne Balfe was pulled in to fill his shoes and the sound production was supervised by Hans Zimmer.
I am glad I chose the ending my conscience went with. There were plenty of WTF! Moments. Replaying the last chapter may unlock the other endings I believe and may hardly take an hour more but I couldn’t be bothered since this title has been backlogged for over a month now. I had received the copy on October start and it is almost December now - that perhaps explains the mojo I had to play this game. That wasn’t the case with Heavy Rain. I played the whole game twice to witness all the endings and unlocked the third Platinum as well. It was that good! Not so with this one.
Looking forward for his next title for the PS4.

Just completed the game and I'm speechless. Exceptional at various points, and the story is better than any game I've ever played.
Don't and won't ever understand the poor reviews this game got. Some people are just loco.

Maybe but not like david cage. Dude please no offence if you found the story without any flaws or good then okay I have no problem. But calling something to others who didn't is not a fair idea. There had been a lot of debate over various forums about his stupidity and shitty stories. I have already given one link as an example. After completing indigo prophecy back in those days I did a lot of research to understand the crap it had in the name of story. The famous crap which everyone agrees is that any females in his story will sleep with the main character without any reason because he is the protagonist of the story.(Like he is making a spoof on some films.)
