Hi,
I have just received my Biostar A690G-M2 Motherboard and AMD X2 4000+ processor.
I am about to replace it with my existing hardware. However before I do that I want to download all the drivers etc associated with the Motherboards chipset (Display, Audio, LAN etc) as I do not want to install the older versions from the CD.
1. Should I install the chipset software from AMD's site or use some sort of Biostar software.
2. Do I need to upgrade the BIOS. The mfg month on the packet is Aug 2007 and it says Biostar A690G-M2 Ver. 6.0
Any other suggestions for a new install?
