For the last few days blizzard has been posting teasers on its website causing intense speculation on what exactly it is

what do they all mean - each teaser pointed to a particular franchise

Day 1 - Frostmourne Rune - World of Warcraft
Day 2 - Nef Rune - Diablo
Day 3 - Protoss symbol - StarCraft
Day 4 - A starry sky and there's a pair of eyes in it similar to the eyes of the Dark Wanderer in The Diablo 2 Cover Art, but a rune with planets orbiting around a galaxy
Day 6 - the runes are more clear and there's a 5th rune which looks like a snowflake, And the eyes glow more and also burn
So what game is it? Diablo 3? Warcraft 4? World of Starcraft? World of Diablo? A next-gen MMO? An EVIL PENGUIN? :devil:

Hopefully all will be revealed in the Worldwide invitational in Paris this weekend

I would love a Diablo 3 announcement, that said Warcraft 4 would not be too bad either :hap2:

Speculation that it could also be a Starcraft spinoff like Ghost or maybe even a World of Starcraft :bleh:

Oh! I'ts DiabloIII. Haven't played the first two as I'm not much into western RPG's although I've been meaning to because of all the hype surrounding them. Guess, I'll finally have to now.
 
Damn Diablo 3 is finally a reality.

This is the seriously the worst time period of all; the endless wait before a fresh Blizzard game announcement when you just know it will be a good year before you can play the game.
 
Finally hope they have turned the resolutions up! They could have done it with Diablo 2.....not sure why the chose not to.
 
gameplay trailer looks good, but not spectacular. A very familiar look and feel- something like dungeon siege 2 with physics :bleh:

This year is going to be awesome- just waiting for Dawn of War 2 , Starcraft 2 , and now Diablo 3 :hap2:
 
i think the teasers were not only for Diablo III but for Starcraft 2 (protoss symbol) and WoW:Wrath of the Lich King (frostmourne) as well. they're working on all three at the same time. it's awesome how blizzard have yet to produce a sub par game. their track record is phenomenal. every single game has been a success iirc.
 
Baah! I think they're a bit overated. Strcraft and Warcraft had brilliant stories, but the gameplay was not to my liking. Too unbalanced, I felt.

lol no actually... i was referring to the fact that games like starcraft are considered the epitome of rts balance.

world of warcraft balance is actually broken. you left the game sometime in arena season 2 and that was the beginning of the decline of warlocks. melee are the new kings now...
 
Starcraft is absolute shit when it comes to balance. In creating unique factions, they threw gameplay out the window.
 
care to explain why it's still one of the most popular rts games in the world 10 years after it's release and why it's still used in competitive tournaments then?
