Damn! That blast happened in German Bakery, and according to reports the adjacent three shops were heavily damaged too. That are used to be my favourite, with Mocha right across the street and Subway next door from German Bakery.
Screw whoever is responsible for that!

I hope all the TE-ites in Pune are safe. German Bakery was a very very popular hangout for Indians and ex-pats alike.

But I know how this can be solved.

We need to now tell people that hating Pakistani people is obviously not the way. We should play more sports and games with them, Ask prominent celebrities to talk about indo-pak ties and resume peace talks. This seems like a sure way to win Pakistani hearts as well as long lasting peace...

Well! it's a populous country = more people = expendable lives!

All politicians have to do is to act like they care for a few days, media to flash breaking news / headlines and sell, for us to feel sorry for loss of lives for the umpteenth time ...... and then it all goes back to normal. Everybody moves on. Nothing gets done... until the next attack occurs somewhere else.

It's not easy to protect each and every citizen. But, what can be done is to be alert in intelligence gathering, sharing the information among agencies and then acting on them. A major terror attack being averted never would get the same mind share or appreciation - from media or even us. But they are the only way to reduce loss of ordinary people.

I am sure that some terrorist who's going to enjoy 5-star facilities soon in our jails would have done it... and yeah! as usual, the whole truth would never come out.
