I might be able to help. My mate is a psp genious. He does all this programming for psps and even made his own psp version. I'll ask him tommorow if you could do anything and will report back. :D
 
Well I spoke to my mate today and he said there is only one way! you have to get devolution mod chip( I think he said mod chip) So you can re-write the flash on the psp! Well the chip I think is about £15 on ebay maybe more or less. Should make your psp work.
