Bsnl 3g Diconnects Help

Some times it not disconnected at all , but the connection stop working......

How to solve this ? or this is the limitation of 3g ? Or any Wireless internet ?
 
used last night awesome speeds today from evening keep getting disconnected !! fm 5 o clock !! my currency is 1rs.. it should be 20bucks i bought new 3g sim for 180bucks ! i fear to recharge 4.2k & **k myselfup!
 
^^ Just be clear....wat is sim cost ...what FRC u did ?

Sim can be Rs 59 only...so I guess you did Rs 120 FRC...which will have zero balance but 150 on-net and 50 off-net free calls, apart from 2000 sms & 100 video calls.

No dedicated balance is there.

Disconnection issue may be temporary...try for next 5-6 days then decide and recharge. Btw why not setup the connection as suggested here.
 
I have tried all the tips and tricks as well as the USB hotfix for this disconnection issue and i am sure that this a network issue and it isnt related to 3G modems/devices or pc.
 
@supra : done all the tricks none work ouT !! sim they asked to pay 180 bucks in total dt kw what frc !! they said they will give 20 tt.. but when i *123# it shows 1rs howz that possible is the dc cuz of low balance !?

btw even if i set up connection like this it doesnt automatically connect !! m seiously pissed to the core !

I guess its an temporary glitch here in bangalore... i was using several months and just today i found this frequent disconnections :) peace
 
@supra : those posts are too due to continuous disconnection!! m very patient human being !! but in terms of moneypaid+timespent=get crap that makes people HULK !!

A lot of users complaining about the frequent disconnections. How do we even download anything if this is the case?

I am getting my E122 modem by the weekend and should be able to test it. Point is with such frequent disconnections, the 4200 RC does not make sense. I think I'll make do with the cheaper one. :'(

disconnection is a fact but it varies with user to user & tower in area :ashamed:

BSNL put some limitation on continues download thats for sure .

if we use datacard's default software ,it doesn't reconnect .
better to use redial - interval after few seconds which works nicely . also putting user log on in download manager works perfect .

but microsux os sometime hangs out of these all :S
 
using BSNL 3G SIM on E122.Gets disconnected every 1-2 hours.Speeds are amazing but these disconnections are annoying.
 
^As a result of these frequent disconnects it is painfully annoying to get the torrents to their best speeds. I wonder how this is going to be here in Surat. I'll post it whatever it is.

torrents give good speed but port forwarding works for few time period & then goes like nothing .
upload is like dead , I hoping same for you in Surat as in Vadodara it's same all over city .
 
If the torrents are from Private trackers, it shouldn't take long to achieve the full speed, mostly in a minute after starting the torrent.

I have the modem connected to the Seagate Dockstar and configured to reconnect automatically and the time between disconnects and reconnects is barely 20-30s. So anyone looking for 24/7 Automated downloads I suggest you get a Seagate Dockstar, will work as a low power system for downloads as well.

My friend is using the Asus N13U as a 3G Router, but its not able to handle the disconnections and reconnections smoothly and mostly have to manually reboot the router.
 
^In my case, it is going to be connected directly to the netbook. I'll have to get rid of the router now. :(

I dont mind the dockstar Vivek, but it is going to be a major PITA configuring it. I saw the other thread. :ashamed:
