^ I think it depends on the area. I faced the same issue in Chennai whereas in Cochin there is no problem like that.

Now the signal is -87 dBm and speed is 140 KB/s avg.I have ordered a 5m and a 1.5 m noise filtered usb cable from ebay.They shipped it on 11th Dec by DTDC.Can u guys say when I can expect it to arrive.With my wave I saw that near my pc i get 3 bars whereas near the window about 18 ft away I get 5 bars.so I guess I will get better speeds with the cables.

BTW @ STormer can u help me with the .bat file???
 
marcus, pleas post the links of the cables you have bought, i am planning on picking one up, so unable to decide whom to buy from as there are plenty of sellers on ebay
