Yea definitely bsnl are the best. I too was using my conneciton with a UL speed of about 10kbps. But for the last 6-7 months Ive been getting lot of work which requies lot of uploading. I've been steadily refusing cliets who demand high uploads. I coulnt bear this any more, and sent a lenghty email to bsnl and explain to them that for many people upload is as important, and infact in my case upload is much more important than download. I even agreeded to take a connection with 256kbps upload and 64kbps download speeds.

I am realy glad bsnl have implemented this change, from today onwards I have been getting about 27kbps upload speeds, earlier I would get 8-10kbps.

Bsnl are doing a very good job, I wish them luck.

i was getting @ 500kbps upload speeds on my home 500

confirmed... today onwards 2048kbps down and 512kbps up streams @ home 500 .

i'm getting 160kbps DL / 46kbps UL on private trackers !!!!!:clap: :clap:
the only problem is i can't check account usage (because 117. 196 range, cant use the 10.240 range server), BSNL - Broadband Account Management server says no info available !!!

way to go BSNL ...

kudos for all those took the initiative for writing to the bsnl ppl bout the upload problems.. as i read in other threads...

hopefully the dl speeds for the UL plans will increase in the near future...

Thank God for that.. !

now only thing left is to maybe cut the cost on the plan to get it in the same picture as Airtel's plans.

i did ate BSNL ppl's brain wen a bunch of us had decided to flood the concerned sarkari e mail box with req for Unltd Plan.. it did worked.. seems like this time too some kind soul was responsible.

That is good news........I've applied for a new BSNL home500 plan....good to know that ratios won't be as big a problem as they could have otherwise been.......kudos to dsarosh , and everyone who played a part. The other players would have more pressure to dish out better plans now......I just hope BSNL does finally come out with a 2mbps unltd home plan soon.
