Graphic Cards Budget GPU's (sub 20k)

What the hell happened to this segment, there's almost no new options, only thing you'll get is the RX 6600 (which isn't sub 20k half the time) or the RTX 3050 (which is just sad though the 17k price point isn't half bad). With driver support winding down for the 10 series as well, what does the budget gamer have left in this segment that isn't a used 6700XT?

Used RTX 3060 12GB ?

I mean yeah but the used card was just an example, I wanted to know what you can get new for that sort of price these days, which seems to be very little. To be fair, you can snag the 1650 or 1660, but with RT support being made mandatory in games as of late, you probably don't want to buy them, not to mention the fact that those cards don't have access to DLSS upscaling as well, which is pretty important at this performance tier.

I don't think there's enough B580s to go around here, not to mention that pricing is going to get completely butchered if it even makes it to here in good enough numbers. We'd be blessed to have a B570 at 22k
Yeah true I definitely agree, maybe if we revolt against AI we will get more cards lol. But even if it's going to be difficult to get our hands on it's still a good thing if they're coming and making this price segment competitive.

A lot of crazy things have happened since COVID, and they've really messed up the PC gaming scene.

COVID, mining, tariffs, and AI all played significant roles, with inflation hitting us like a double whammy. I don’t see things getting better unless there's a major breakthrough.

Used market for 3060 and high end 20 series is somewhat decent and if you have to risk something, this price segment is best since you have less to lose.

I agree that there aren't any good options besides rx660 or 3060, but intel might have some promising deals considering it might be only a 1000 or 2000 INR higher. Although 3060 still would be stable on the lowest ray tracing provided you use DLSS if you really need it unless intel comes up with something.

if productivity is not your concern, then get a 6700xt or 6800 16 gigs... it'll game a good two years more at 1440p medium high

Main thing is how willing AMD is to commit on their new upscaling for previous gens

whoops i totally misread the topic, 30k is the new 20k mate

Same, My 1050 TI looks like it's close to dying and I am unable to justify pushing for a costlier GPU as I will inevitably not be gaming enough to justify it plus old CPU. AMD looks to the only choice

Sub 20k GPUs probably a thing of the past. nVidia doesn't want to release such cheap graphics cards anymore, and AMD has really bad offerings in the form of 6500xt and 6400xt, both of which are terrible options and bad value for what you're paying. Best option would be the upcoming 5060 or the 9060 from AMD. Of course there's no leaks or rumors about both of these cards but this is the price segment where the most consumer GPUs are sold. 9060 was officially teased by AMD to be available from Q2 and there's no rumors about the 5060 from nVidia.

This is primarily because currently Nvidia only deals with dedicated GPU market. If nvidia enters the cpu market, then the iGPU would be nvidia based and we will see the emergence of better budget graphics offerings.

Nvidia is already developing an Arm based processor and seems to be struggling currently. Although its still too early to say anything.
