Thanks people... I will shure try my hand at overclockin again !! ;) ... One bad experience dosent mean u stop all together.... Any tips on how to reduce the temp inside the cabinet ?? System seems to b runin HOT...

Whats ur cabinet? I'd recommend atleast one intake and an exhaust fan of high cfm. helps to bring down ambient temperatures by a lot. By how what temperatures are you getting? Its summer so for the A64, temperatures of 45-50 are normal on aircooling.
 
i wud agree with Chaos here. make sure the airflow within ur cabinet is neat and plentiful. u cud add a fan on the front as intake and one more on the rear as exhaust. most of the time that makes pretty good difference. but b4 u do that, u might wanna check the temps with the side panel open. if the temps drop then u need better air flow inside ur closed cabinet. otherwise it cud be due to non-proper mouting of the heat sink on to the CPU, which i doubt is the case here..

My Asus MX440 does GPU:Memory 415:540 at max and does 405:523 without artifacting.. the stock is 270:405
 
whoopsie...honest mistake :) i used to run it at 375/475 when i had it...or it seems...duh...forgotten that....
