He wont have to pay Customs, as he himself imports/exports his goods, atleast thats what he told me.

Anyways, I'd suggest a few changes. When you spend $10K, you don't settle for a stupid 24" screen. You go all the way.

Heres what he should get:-
1> Sony Qualia 004 Projector ( 1080p )
2> Stewart GreyHawk Front Projection Screen ( THX Acoustically Transparent Screens) - Size depends on his room size. As a thumbrule, viewing distance should be twice the diagonal size of the screen.
3> Lynx AES16 Soundcard. + Lynx Aurora8 DAC
4> Klipsch THX2 Ultra Speaker setup.
5> Bryston 9B SST 6ch Amplifier.

This should do for now.

LOL ditch the klipsch. Get b&w 703s ;). 3000$ a pair only :D.
 
Chaos, he does have a budget, you know. And since he's goldie's friend, and willing to spend 30K based on goldie's suggestions, he might enjoy the dynamics and the punch of the klipsch, compared to the musicality of the B&Ws.

2*1GB GSkill DDR-400 RAM or 4*512 OCZ/GSkill DDR600 RAM or 2*1GB DDR-500 GSkill / Mushkin Redline

2*7800GTX 512 / 7900GTX (If its released by then)

2*500GB Hitachi SATA 3Gbps Drives.

Creative X-Fi Sound Card

Speakers, i told him to get from India as speakers are a bit toooooo bulky to have imported. He doesnt have a full container you know :bleh:

2*BenQ dw1640 (On the Fly copy, he wanted that)

Antec TP2 550W

ThermalTake Tai-Chi (Watercooled Case) or the ThermalTake Tsunami.

I really dunno who will convert all that money for him, hope he has better contacts than me. Lol.

Woah Woah Woah.. With 15 lakhs he could fill up an entire lab with computers for kids who arent as privileged as him. (After keeping enough money aside to buy himself decent gaming rigs)
Its sad really. Makes me sick. I wonder what kinda ideals this dude will have when he's grown up a bit. (I dont even wanna think about now).
 
Well, it is his money(or his dad's at least).... so, I dont care what he does with it. I only hope he is not some sort of a criminal or something like that. and with so much of money, I only hope he is not one of those typical rich guys we see on the big screen

Its all his money, believe it or not, hes only 25-26..

Im sticking with nVidia and SLi for him. Since a x1900xt Master Card is hard to come by. So it the x1800xt master card. Zzz...
