Laptops Burning smell from new laptop

It seems now its clear that asus is offering burnt warranty on laptops too. Hope many users go its way due to this factor.:P
 
ok till today that smell wasn't going off even after using laptop non-stop

so today i marched into asus service centre in sparta madness

End result they agreed to replace it . they said it will take one week if i can wait
 
Well, a slight burning like smell comes from my 6 month old laptop adaptor at full load+ charging as well

Took a full year to go away last time
 
u need to keep a camera handy if the laptop fries out ... burning laptop videos are very popular
