I'm getting myself one of these from the UK, and a 7200rpm hdd locally. this supports sata2, and my lappy has a esata port. It needs 2~3 USB ports to power itself if a 7200rpm drive is used, but I'm taking care of that too ;-)
Thanks Dipakshah, but this is an internal HDD. I have to put it in USB casing to use it with my laptop, which is not a good option and will cost me 500 more.
