Bypassing Jio Fiber Router/ONT -Guide

To people who have switched to TP link XZ000-G3 from Jio's ONT+Router have the speed been stable? I have 1gbps plan and lately the router has been very unstable. I have to use a VPN to get decent speeds.

Dunno if its the Jio ONT or just bad routing in my region.

Guys before I invest in this tplink gpon router.l, I want to know from people using it, it working properly?

Also saw this recently uploaded video:

Will this work?

Got it. Just ordered it. I was not sure if I should order from this website or not. Got a lot of reviews that it is a fraud. But since you already got it. I ll purchase it. Thanks.

Okay I have successfully bypassed Jio ONT using the provided TP Link XZ000-G3 GPON unit. I have done the following things:
1. My JIO firmware starts with ARCN so I used that for the serial number
2. Converted it to hex and appended the last 8 digits of my mac address
3. Put that in GPON SN and in VLAN set the tag to 1015
4. I am using a TP Link Archer C6 v4 router where I cloned the MAC address of my jio router.
Connection got established. BUT I am facing one problem

Now if I restart my router and the GPON unit, I don't have internet connection. I don't get assigned any IP adress dynamically. (I have set dyanmic IP in my tp link router). To get my internet working I have to press release and renew in the router settings and then I get an IP assigned. How do I solve this?

UPDATE: Got it resolved. The issue was dhcp was enabled on the GPON terminal as well, which was causing that issue it seems. Resolved it by disabling that.

Hey I have vsol and arcn router too. Did you take hex of arcn only and added mac or whole hex of arcn + mac

For those who are able to telnet into Jio HGW , you can get the serial from `/var/romfile.cfg`, at least on the SCOM unit.

Code:
RIL> grep SerialNumber /var/romfile.cfg
<ONU Version="RP0201" VendorId="4899" SerialNumber="SCOMXXXXXXXX" Password="00000001"....

In addition to this, you can also transfer this file (and any other) from within the router to your System using netcat. Unfortunately the busybox binary included in the unit is pretty basic , but I was able to workaround by downloading this static build of busybox into /flash2 and execute ./busybox nc successfully

What delivery option you picked and how long did it take to arrive?
