at last someone cracked it !!!!!!!!thanks a lot for that clown_abhi u really made me make up my mind.....
just 1 question how do u connect TATA sky to ur monitor ,do u have a tv tuner card in ur pc or how does that work ????????

Sticking to the basics......and saving 3k  thanks to Gannu!

Actually that would allow me to run onboard and not install the 6600gt (which sucks a considerate amt of power considering it also requires a dedicated 4 pin power connector ) just for the sake of running the lcd monitor! thus i save more on power consumption too

getting somewhere finally....sw000sh!

i would not be using this monitor to watch tv ,so dont need a tv tuner card so that saves me 2k
, the palit 4850 does give a decent fps rate @ 1920 x 1080
also the price difference is only 2600 bet the 22 ant the 20 inc

Since u started the thread with questions over viewing angles and TV tuner cards, so i was under the impression that u would be watching a lot of movies and TV...And backlight bleeding in relation to text!!!

And now u say u need the LCD for browsing???:S

If for browsing, why in the world do u need a big screen, there's no need. And a Bravia would completely suck at text rendering. So, even dat's out of question...

It's wise to go for any 19" Dell or anything for browsing. It just won't matter for text. :cool2:

Save as much as u can and go for any 19".

Bigger screens are good for movies and even a 700MB rip looks good, depending upon ur preferences of watching a movie. :cool2:

However, nothing beats a HD...

^ already mentioned here and there and everywhere  dint u read everything :P neways...........purpose of the thread served.....stuff bought and chapter closed :)

I plan to get the Samsung 2233sw and soon my cables going all CAS, so mind telling us the TV tuner card u using.
