HI everyone,

As you might have known i have been trying to sell a 3 days old Sprint unlocked iPhone 4s 64GB on TE for some time now.

Krishna_chennai and i have come to a deal for 45k for the whole combo. However, since he wants to pay via his credit card he wants me to list it on Ebay and he is willing to take care of the fees.

Now i tried listing it on eBay, but my account being brand new, they are not allowing me to list such a high priced item, even after me providing them with all the documents they asked for.

So i was hoping if some senior member here who has an older account with good feedback can help me out and list the phone and receive payment on my behalf.

I am trying hard on my end to get the issue resolved, but any help in this matter would be deeply appreciated.

Ebay charges 6% fees over and above the deal amount which roughly translates into Rs.2700/-. As the fees are calculated on the final amount if I were to increase the price to 47700/- the final fees then becomes 2862/-. If he agrees to deposit the fees amount by NEFT into my a/c, I can probably help you out.

PM me if you're interested as I don;t check the forum often.

The whole fee amount or the difference. If I am correct the whole Rs. 47700 will be debited into your account and you will be asked later as a Paisapay invoice to pay the fees, right.

Can any other member who has sold on eBay shed more light on this.

#rdst_01, #agupta02 is right about the fees. There is going to be a 1% listing fee, and 4.5% PaisaPay fee for non-EMI transactions (for EMI, it is going to be 6%). On top of this there will be a 10.3% service tax.

I know he is right about the fees, but I wanted to know if he wants the difference or the whole fees to be NEFTed to him. Plus if you an tell me whether the whole amount is transferred to the sellers bank account or do they transfer the remainder after taking the fees.

Ebay would deduct the fees and then remit the remaining amount into my account. So if I list it @45k, the amount remitted to my a/c from Ebay would be 45000-2700 = 42300. We can do it this way. I can list the item and them remit whatever amount I receive from Ebay to your a/c and you can work with the buyer on the fees bit yourself.

Indeed..

Do keep in mind that the PaisaPay & Listing charges are differently charged..

Tough Paisapay fee is deducted from the final payment (~4.5 %) the listing fee (1 %) would be charged later on the a/c & would be billed separately.

All fee would attract 10.3% on the fee amount...
