Whats the difference between DIGIC II and III. Or is it just like the o/c differences? i.e. useless and unnoticeable

Ok, quick question. Should I go for S3-IS or A710, considering I'll never be using manual mode?

Out of those 2, get the A710 IS and save yourself some money .

If you have no intention of using manual mode, why don't you go in for Canon's sleeker SD / Digital Ixus series ?
