Guys what are the documents and formalities to be completed during a job change..

Here are the ones I know
Relieving letter
Experience letter
Pf transfer forms
Bank account closure (is this necessary if the future co. Also has the same bank)

There are some additional stuffs like form 11 etc etc.. Which one comes to know only after leaving the org

Is there anything else missing

Relieving Letter is the important one.
Experience letter - hardly anybody cares. :)

PF transfer nothing to until you join the new company and your new PF account is created. After that you need to apply for a transfer. It's easier in case previous company maintains a trust. The Regional PF office route takes time. (I don't the procedure with the new common PF ID system though)

Why to close bank account? Why not maintain the same account in the new company?
(Even if you do not want to continue, instead of closing make it a normal SBA type from Salary account type)

Another important thing to remember - Form 16 from the previous company. Provide a valid email id and they normally send to the alumni along with the regular employees when generated.

Pension amount transfer - I had no idea about my pension stuff. After joining the new company I had filled up some form and my pension was also transferred along with the PF amount.

Gratuity amount - can be claimed only if being employed for certain period.

Health Insurance transfer/terminate - (for parents and self)

Hi Guys
Request you to put down any job opening in IT firms (walk-ins or referrals) that you are aware of.
My brother has completed his B.Tech (I.T) this year and he is looking out for a job in IT field.
Sadly, there was no Campus interviews in his college.
He is good in C, C++, HTML and also has basic knowledge in PHP. Would be glad to share his CV if anybody can refer him in any IT company.
Thanks in advance

A bit off topic.
Currently I am a Pega developer (it is a Java based tool). Have people here heard of it? I have around 1.5 yrs exp, all of it in Pega.

I saw that lots of startups are focussing on Javascript (node.js, react.js etc). Those guys are paying big amounts.

If I want a well paying & interesting job, should I stick with Pega or should I start exploring Javascript?
Is there any chance that startups will hire a guy like me (non-CS B.Tech) who has worked only in a service company?

Any chance I'd get hired for sysadmin position? Currently working primarily as desktop level admin at a terrible company. Too much documentation and not enough work.
I've also faced difficulties while doing education. Lots of gaps, drops and ATKTs. Can't even do any certification as I'm bogged down because of this job.

I know there is so much stuff that I don't know about (saying this is considered as a weakness by Indians) but I'm willing to learn.

Edit: naukari and monster are very unhelpful when looking of these jobs. My dashboardsare flooded with call centre jobs.

I have cleared BE in CS recently and am studying for MCSA at the moment. Was wondering if companies hire trainee server admins. If someone knows of such opening please let me know. Thank you.

Chances are pretty much lower for an MCSA. Better try for RHCE and have some idea of virtualization, Shell scripting. They'll pull you as a fresher.

Anyone interested in referral in Deloitte let me know , there are various openings for various levels.
Java openings for 1-6 year's exp are also there.

Any one who here has experience interviewing candidates.. Or better somebody from HR..

What do people generally answer to why are you looking for a job change?

What do you answer when somebody wants to switch a job within 7-8 months and is asked why are you looking for a change where the only reason is a higher CTC

his experience... otherwise why would they waste time in interviewing him? they can figure out from his resume that he is changing job too soon.

what if the new company gives you a premium laptop? your CTC will increase without any extra penny in your pocket :p
Ok little correction..

In hand remuneration
