Samsung has announced a slew of new Smart Cameras 2.0 at CES 2013. The range includes six new models.
The Smart Cameras were first introduced in CES 2012, the new Smart Cameras 2.0 come with new functionalities.
These cameras come with Wi-Fi functionality, allowing users to share images easily and directly from the camera. AutoShare allows images to simultaneously be sent and saved straight to a smartphone, via a Wi-Fi connection, as soon as the photo is taken on a camera.
Samsung has also made the Smart Camera app which can be downloaded to Android and iOS phones and connect with the pre-installed SMART CAMERA capabilities via a Wi-Fi connection to manipulate, share and back-up images shot across the range of connected Samsung cameras available. This also allows the phone to be used as a viewfinder for the camera .
Samsung WB250F & WB200F
It is the flagship model and comes with 14.2 Megapixel BSI CMOS (WB250F) or CCD (WB200F) sensor and 24mm lens. It has 18x optical zoom. It has 3 inch touch LCD screen and five-way navigation keys for operation. It built-in HDR mode and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Samsung WB800F
This camera has 21x F2.8 optical zoom lens with 23mm lens. It has 16.3MP BSI CMOS sensor and 3 inch touchscreen. It can record video at 1080p at 30 fps. It also has HDR mode built-in.
Samsung WB30F
The WB30F is the range’s new ‘mini model’, with the capabilities of a WB model, including 10x optical zoom and 24mm, wide angle lens, in an ultra-slim body that is only 17mm thick. It also has Live Panorama and Magic frame features . The WB30F will be available in black, white, red, purple and pink.
Samsung DV150F
This model also includes a front facing 1.48" LCD screen for taking self portraits. It has 16.2MP CCD sensor and 5x F2.5 optical zoom lens with 25mm wide angle. It has 2.7" main LCD display . It can record video in up to 720p resolution at 30 fps. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity.
Samsung ST150F
This model comes with F2.5 Bright Lens, 5x optical zoom and 25mm lens. It has 16.2MP CCD sensor. It also includes Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports video recording up to 720p at 30 fps. It has 3 inch non-touch LCD display .
