Cheap But Reliable CDMA Mobile ?

Please guys help me!
I'm LF a CDMA mobile for my mom.
Will be use for RIM,MTS or TATA SIM.
Dual SIM would be better with good battery but budget is very low.
Can spend max. 2K for brand like Nokia,Samsung etc with Dual SIM.
1. Q: Budget?
A: 1K (as cheap as possible but reliable with good warranty and after sale service)

2. Q: Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?
A: Bar

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: No idea

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: No idea

5. Q: Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: No idea

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Not required

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: No idea but fast OS would be better

8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: May be GPRS/EDGE

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Mainly for talk for long time

10. Q: Any other requirements?
A: May be Dual SIM

11. Q: If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Not yet

BTW,is it without warranty ?

How will u repair if it gone kaput ?.....:S

It was purchased frm ebay.com,Brought to India by Aramex India...

It does not come with warranty in India....

In case of any problems it could be repaired by local repair shops since the similar phone comes with Reliance....

You can use your eBay.in account to buy from Global Easy Buy. With the coupon GEB will come out cheaper, I used Aramex as I had some shipping credit. ;)

Sure, on tracking it says the shipment is out for delivery so should be getting it in 2-3 hours. Will have to get it programmed with my Dad's reliance number too. :)

There is no sim slot in it, have to be programmed. You will have to get a Reliance SIM and program the details on to the phone as Reliance won't activate foreign handsets.

Even I am not sure about it, Mohit has promissed to help me! :) Thank you Mohit! :)

The 15% coupon that I got has a max discount of Rs 500 (Not sure if there are coupons with higher discounts), so this one will come to Rs 3317 after coupon :)

Pls pm me about the programing.
If I can do that then I could think of buying this model or the cheaper one suggested at 1st page.
BTW,saw some mobile r locked & some r unlocked at GEB.
Don't get that.

In context of CDMA there is nothing Locked or Unlocked...

You can buy any,whichever is available at cheaper price...

All of them have to be programmed since they doesn't have any sim slot..

^ Got the 8130 Pearl sometime back! :) :) Looks brand new with plastic covering etc on screen and back panel. Wasn't charged any duty as well. :)

Will be programming it later today or tomorrow with Mohit's help. Will let you know the status tomorrow. :)

The duty on phones is only about 1.03% so even if they charge duty it will be only Rs 100 or so. Sure will post once its done! :)

Edit : Programming done, made a test call and worked fine! :) Will test it thoroughly tomorrow.
