Sometimes, I wonder (and ask many) how good would have 3 idiots been if not for Amir Khan in it. I am pretty sure it would've been bashed by media and NGOs for the chatur's speech itself.

Ever since when did some die hard fans of a particular celeb stopped watching his/her movie/s no matter how much it/they suck? Thanks to all the fans these people are still taking us for a ride.
Good movies dont necessarily make good money and vice-versa.

Ever since bollywood people made shitty movies like Bodyguard, Chennai Express etc.
And yeah tell me how many people would spend 300 bucks for a repeat? Out of all the people who have watched the movie I bet 70-80% of them called Chennai Express's hit a "Bakwas hit".

Movie making is not only an art, it's a business and returns on investment are expected. No one is there to make you feel better, at the end of the day its plain old Business. Get the max you can while you can. Some Movies are made for the masses. Tell me how many people at seen earth even if they are an Amir fan. Same goes for SRK I haven't seen his other recent movies from YRF banner. CE was a fun movie for me. Some cheesy dialogue an satire on some films an couple of unrealistic stunts, you mock the Indian way of movie making which you say is not possible. It was my view point on the movie you don't need to so critical. Rate the movie as per your views and forget it. Come to think of other movie I regretted ever watching in theatre was cloud Atlas and Sucker Punch. But they were admired for they story line and stunt details.

So lets end this here and carry in with the thing "I" created this thread for.

I also like CE. it was fun to watch. And I never watch Hindi movies. This is spend 170 or 160 or 180 at satyam. :D
 
It only made 300 crore cause tickets were priced at 900-1000 bucks in lots of places, if u calculate this way, yeh jawaani hai Deewani and three idiots will own CE.
