OMEGA44-XT

Looking for a wireless gaming mouse as an upgrade from Logitech G304.

Palm grip & palm is 18.5cm long (so want to avoid anything bigger than 125mm).

VXE R1 is a popular choice, but waiting 1 week vs waiting 1+ month makes the difference.

My G304 has the following issues because of which I don't want to wait (will RMA it after getting a new mouse):
  • Sometimes it just stops responding mid-game for 1-2s, very annoying when it happens in CoD MP
  • Middle click needs to be pushed harder to actuate

Some alternatives I shortlisted:
  1. Ajazz A139 Max (https://www.genesispc.in/products/ajazz-aj139-max?variant=44161201012789)
  2. Ajazz A199 Max (https://www.genesispc.in/products/ajazz-aj199-max)
  3. Madlions Mad G (https://neomacro.in/products/vxe-mad-g?variant=49504374096150)
  4. Zaopin Z1 Pro (https://neomacro.in/products/zaopin-z1-pro?variant=48283989344534)
  5. MCHOSE G3 (https://www.genesispc.in/products/m...-wireless-gaming-mouse?variant=44390787973173) - Bad colour
  6. Darmoshark N5 (https://ctrlshiftstore.com/products/darmoshark-n5?variant=42573459062877) - White colour isn't ideal
Let me know your views & any other suggestions.

Ajazz 139 Max price is 4000. So I guess, your budget is 4000.
Buy VXE R1 pro at 4300 or VXE Mad R at 4600(Meckeys).
If you want best Wired Mouse then Buy Razer Deathadder V3 Wired at 3000(everything is same in Both Wired and Pro version, just wired and wireless difference).
Ignore all options which you have mentioned.
saying from my Experience because I have VXE R1 pro max, VGN F1 moba, attack shark X3 and other mouse.

I would have bought VXE R1 pro, if it was in stock. 30 May restocking date is too late.

I often use the scroll wheel click, be it gaming or normal work. The issue with it not working was very rare, but it started malfunctioning a lot more since yesterday.

I had G305 back in 2019 from US, started double-clicking, moved to Razer Viper wired in 2021. It developed scroll click issues twice, once in warranty (the wire annoyed me as well). Bought G304 in late 2023, so still in warranty but not sure if it will get replaced instantly.

I just got a ATK Z1 Pro Max for 5k from Meckeys a few weeks ago.

So far, quite happy with the purchase. Super light, good battery life (I use it for my creative workstation so polling rate's low) and ergonomically it fits my hands way better than the G604 I was using before.

Main thing I was looking for were optical switches as my all previous Logitech wireless mice gave up on me after 6-7 months of usage and started double clicking. I RMA'ed my G604 twice while it was in warranty. :/

Just curious, Do you buy disposable battery every time or get 2 rechargeable AA battery and switch them as needed ? Why not buy something that can be charged via USB-C ?
I have 4x AA rechargeable batteries, it comes in handy at times when my Xbox controller's battery dies (have the battery kit for it). My TV's remote also has AA batteries but yet to replace the factory one which it came with. Other than these, no other equipment at my home needs AA batteries as of now.

Wanted to buy a mouse that charged via type C, but looks like I will stick with Logitech for some more time.

G304 is actually good.. But ive also seen superlight used/RMA ones going for 5.5k you can also try to increase ur budget by a little
Heard of parts failing in Logitech too much, making me not spend more than 2.5k on Logitech.

I can feel your pain, luckily current G304 ran for almost 2 years. Need to get it RMA'd but the issue is so random. I hope the new G304 will run for another 2 years w/o issues at least.

you need to replace your switches, aside from that g304 is almost indestructible, but I feel your pain, I have been trying to find a G304 replacement for years now, but apart from logi and razer, not a single OEM manufactures mouses with replaceable batteries, I hate wires on my desk and wireless mice where you need to charge their batteries every couple of days might as well be wired for all the good they do.

As an aside, if you are buying a new G304, I think that the Esckey owner provides services for swapping switches on logi mice, so it might be a good idea to buy from him and get him to swap switches before sending it to you, atleast thats what I plan to do when my RMA'ed G304 shits the bed inevitably

Thing is, it didn't develop double-click issue. I was expecting it to double click, then I would have tried replacing the switch but it had other plans.

Maybe worth looking into repair service. Can get the switch & scroll wheel encoder replaced for the old G304. Connection issue seems to happen only in CoD, might be a CoD issue from what I read in reddit. I saw someone in the TE forum offering switch upgrade service as well.

Btw on an unrelated note, I realized that switches on G604 are changeable but really hard to do so (going by the YT videos). Are there any people/services who enable this? I imagine folks in our local computer markets (Nehru Place for me) won't do it?
