anyhow it is the truth:(

What you see is correct.

Left side is POK, right side has been taken by Chinese during Indo-Chinese war.

Have you been living under the rock????

i am sure port blair is still ours :P or else all the marine exploration is down the ocean

Both the POK and the Chinese occupied kashmir belongs to us indians it should be taken back one way or the other:@.

[Where is Leetsniper now ..?]

And India still is indulging in talks while POK had a meeting of all terrorists.

And whats this new trend with the print media.. calling Terrorists as Jehadis..?? Insulting Islam isnt it ..?

This is gonna be locked up anyhow. :D

We all can try to keep it sane .. Cant we..?

Fire Away Leet.. Take a headshot.. not below the belt

*ouch*

Minerals, timber resources, the Bhramaputra is a potential source of hydroelectric energy, strategic advantage of placing military posts deeper into enemy territory etc etc.
Every piece of land on this planet has something useful to give. It it wasn't, the Brits wouldn't have annexed AP into the Indian provinces a century ago.

i have been to tawang in arunachal pradesh it is unbelievably beautiful! the chinese want it bcoz apparently you get rare earth minerals there. and bcoz they just want it --there was some issue with china wanting sikkim too recently.

The issue makes me think of Noam chomsky. .... We as a people have been permanently conditioned into being utterly passive (Through this Gandhi - Ahinsa propaganda), it seems.

Gandhiji's Ahinsa was not about cowardice --- and I would reject it if it was .

No it isn't.

See it belonged to Tibet and got given to us in 1914 by them. Now the Chinese occupied Tibet in the 50s and therefore for them Tibet does not exist anymore. So if the Chinese agree to relinquish claims on AP then they are recognising Tibet was autonomous at some point in time and was able to give away land. This they cannot allow and is why they cannot give AP up. Thats all, question of doctrine. Chinese can be very principled ppl when it suits them :D

Will not change unless there is a change of regime in China. They cannot take & hold it so they just use it as a bargaining chip and a pressure point against us. We claim Aksai Chin so its square.

Not criticizing you. Just that I read an editorial in HT once which said that by this logic, Afghanistan and even Malaysia should be rightfully Indian territory. :S

OT, but I was reading one of those Life magazine "Full View" in Google books, January 1962 and here's what an issue had to say about an Indian speech in UN

Goa. In defiance of the UN charter, India used military force to seize this small Portuguese colony on her west coast. The act was clearly one of war and, in a shocking speech, the Indian delegate to the U.N. C. S. Jha announced that India would have her way, Charter or no Charter, Council or no Council

I know, different times, different political equations, but one of those things that make one feel like stand up and do a Gorilla act (thump, thump, thump) :P.

Code:
http://books.google.co.in/books?id=nE0EAAAAMBAJ&printsec=frontcover&client=firefox-a&source=gbs_v2_summary_r&cad=0 -Story titled, "Is UN Worth All the Effort"

Whatever has been done is done, the important thing is to not be suppressed in future into giving away any more of our precious country to any land mongers, or bow down to stupid treaties forced upon developing nations to burden them down, while the ass holes flourish...

By Chinese logic you mean ?

..because of the cultural linkages that existed in the past.

Suppose we pulled it off because the Portuguese at the time were unable to defend better. Big bad gorilla :D

Argentines were not as lucky.
