Hi all
As the title says, a link to many of the oc guides I have come across on the net.
I have got some from TE, and some from my own research on the web.
Darklord (for his invaluable advice and hands on experience. ). Also funkymonkey for advice. Baatli (better known as Bottle:bleh: ) has also been very very helpful. If I have forgotten anybody, please forgive me.
• Test the Limits of Your System
This the correct way to find the limits of your CPU, RAM and mobo separately. Then you can combine your results of the three tests and find a ‘sweetspot’ and get your best oc.
• Post your Overclocks
Read through all pages(will take you better part of a week ) but it is worth it. We have discussed overclocking to death here. You may have to browse throught pages a bit to find something useful but it is worth it. I thought of posting the links for individual posts which were helpful. But the problem is that many posts relate to a previous post. so, if I post the link to any one post, you may not be able to understand fully because the background will be unknown.
The best thing is to read through all the pages!!!
• AMD 64 Overclocking Database
A real world comparison of TE members and their success at Overclocking AMD 64s.
• Stability Tests for your Overclocked PC
This thread discusses the tests to be performed on your system after you overclock your machine. The details abt each test. Links to download each software can be found at the bottom of this post.

This link was first posted by Jedimaster. It gives a complete guide to Overclocking of an AMD 64 CPU. Even give lot of info abt the RAM Voltage.
• Study of AMD 64 Overclocking Techniques
Link from NeoSeeker
This link was given by Bottle.
They try different methods of Overclocking. Like Changing HTT link speed by adjusting the multiplier, keeping everything else constant, changing the LDT while keeping the total CPU clock constant by adjusting the CPU multiplier and so on…..
• AMD Athlon 64 General Overclocking Guide
Link from Madshrimps
This link was first posted by cngn. This guide also contains some history of oc’ing using AMDs. It is very detailed and very nice.
• Overclocking Guide
Link first posted by senfunn. Another really sweet article abt the basics of overclocking. Very good for newbies and people who are just taking their first steps into the overclocking world
• Newbie's Guide to Overclocking
Link first posted by dipdude. A complete noobie's guide to overclocking. Starts with the very basics. Highly recommended for newbies who are interested in taking their first steps in overclocking their PC.

• Overclocking the Socket 939 AMD ATHLON 64
Link from OCIA
This is a nice guide. Very simple and easy to understand.

Link from overclock.net
This is a general guide to Overclocking. Not an AMD specific guide. And he explains the terms and words we use very very clearly.
• Overclocking a Socket 754 AMD 64
Link from ocforums
This link was submitted by Chaos. It mainly deals with Overclocking on a DFI NF3 250GB mobo.
• TCCD DDR600 1T at DFI Lanparty UT 250GB Guide
Link from mininstry of overclocking
Link submitted by Chaos. Similar to above. Specific to Socket 754, Samsung TCCD based RAM and DFI N-Force 3 250GB mobos.
Following are copy pasted directly from JediMaster’s post. Reps to be directed him for the below links. To me for formatting . They all deal with OVERCLOCKING RAM.
• AMD 64 TWEAKER
Link to the thread at XS discussing the A64Tweaker, the windows RAM tweaker tool that is a boon for people whose mobos don't provide as fine-grained tweaks as the DFI mobo. A64Tweaker was developed by CodeRed, who is currently breeding snakes and is expected to return to oc-ing soon ! This thread may be best used in conjunction with the links above for piecing together any missing info:
Ignore references to WPCREDIT and look through the latter half of the thread especially...
• DFI NF4 BIOS Memory Guide
A superb compilation of information on RAM timings and what they mean. Again, though the thread title implies DFI specific settings, the info is largely general and will be useful also if you want to use A64Tweaker on a non-DFI mobo.
• TCCD DDR600+ DFI nF4 Ultra/SLI Guide
Again useful info by a GSkill rep on ocing TCCD and not necessarily DFI-specific
