Had told "that i've moved to texas" to that poor chap so that i can get the warranty status and the chat support 24*7 is valid for US only, or i had to wait or visit the RMA Centre as it was a weekend

Note :

1)The Ext HDD is a 3.5inch Based

2) The external HDD was Rmaed in Leiu of 500gb Freeagent about 5 months ago, was used just for like Moving Data from my laptop and the desktop data to the SSD upgrades and has been lying Idle in store room ever since then,

3) All the Items are in Great Condition, and will be sold as a Combo only

4) To Make the Deal Sweet Adding a eSata cable, which was bought Seperately

Reason for Sale :

Lying Unused, and have no Use for this, so Selling these off to make some Moolah for my Incoming Birthday Bash

If I read that as "2) The external HDD was Rmaed in Lieu of 500gb Freeagent about 5 months ago"

Do you want to say that Seagate sent you this drive when your RMA'ed a 500GB free agent ?

Why did you have to get on the chat to get the warranty status ? Is the drive not bought in India or you had some issues with the warranty status page ? Warranty Validation

1) i received this 640 GB ext hdd as a replacement for 500Gb which failed

2) The website didnt accept the serial Number ( as its an RMAed hdd) and was asked to contact phone support and it was Diwali extended Holiday which is why the chat support was availed, if you want me to call the support and get warranty details i can, and the serial number is visible in pics, if you want you could do on my behalf as well
