Get the Lenovo Y560 (59-031220) it s got the new ATI Madison XT( or HD 5770) that is better than the 5650 in the Acer.

Also Lenovo laptops generally have better service and are more reliable. Its got the i5-460M.

Costs 53K.!

Advance Search became more complicated now

In previous ver. I could select Particular Forum in which I want search

Now there is no such option and Have to go through 30-40 pages of results for searching a single keyword related topics

Are sure it has Core i5-460M.? On lenovo's website it is 430M.

hey checked the specs and all. all the people have rated this as high quality and screen have no flaws. check already and the graphics is definitely better.

check the benchmarks in crysis its 5-6fps more than 5650. definitely worth it. i am also buying this one.

I went to a lenovo showroom yesterday and found that this model. The dealer made best offer of 56000 with 3 year warranty. I felt the display looked good but the finish was all gloss whoich I did not like. I came back and searched for reviews and found a huge thread on lenovo forums discussing the display issues. Is there any other similarily priced laptop available which is good for gaming, readily available and has a good display?

After extensive research I have found ithat the best gaming laptop at a sensible price is the Asus G73JH. The G73JH comes in various SKU's, the most VFM being this one on BestBuy. For $1200(Rs. 600000 approx.) you get Core i7, radeon 5870m, 6 GB RAM and 17.3 inch 1600 x 900 display. There is an another SKU with Full HD display and anandtech's review has mentioned that it has the best display among mainstream laptops. I am not sure whether the non-hd model's display is as good.

Indeed Asus G73H is excellent laptop mate, but pricing will come in the way, coz it's not available in Indian market(not totally sure though), even if one goes via KMD way it would IMO cost more then 80K. If OP wants to get laptop from outside india, there are tones of models available to get confused with.
