Confused between iPhone 15 vs S23

I can also confirm the voice isolation feature works like magic.. I was in the gym standing almost next to the speaker playging musi and my caller on the otherside was not able to hear any sound whatsoever.

it is hands down the best calling expeirence i've had.. I can make calls clearly in areas of my house where most of android phones would not get signal.. my dads oneplus open (airtel) does not get signal in a particular area of my house.. whereas i in the same area (still airtel) can make clear calls no issues.

I would personally not consider both of them but instead buy a iphone 14 pro, brand new international ones are available around 90k in the local market. I dont think i can live with less than 120hz display in 2024.
People who have never used a high refresh rate panel will not feel 60Hz as slow. Type C port of iPhone 15 will be much more convenient for people as no lack of type C chargers whenever they travel.

IF S24FE gets 8 Gen 2 with 7 years of OS updates like S24 series, then it will be great choice, easily a better choice than S24+, heck will be a much better value over S24U even. But I doubt that will happen, I feel Samsung will use an exynos chip. Samsung doesn't realise the long term harm it is doing.

I hope this is going to materialize someday. If they put SD8+ G1 to the S23FE - How big a sales figure can it generate alone in India itself...Imagine.

By pushing their Exynos they didn't enable Wi-Fi 7 Function in their S24 Ultra whereas every other SD8 G3 Phone comes with WiFi 7.

True but S21FE with S888 did sell well. I expect S23FE with a price cut to sell well as well but people will end up complaining about the battery life & heat like S21FE. Such people buying an iPhone for 50k will never again buy another android sadly.

S24 Ultra has Wi-Fi 7 since all region uses 8G3. Only s24, s24 plus where they have Exynos models doesn't have it.

imo Samsung is good with After Sales Service.

Few of my friends experience with brands Authorized Service centers (I don't know what part went broke)
  1. Nokia Rs.6000/- handset (2007-2008) keypad handset got repaired, received after 10 days, and it turn to be worst than it was prior to repair and left no option but to sold within a month of repair
  2. Sony sub 12000/- price handset (2009-2010) sent for repair, received after 15 days, and started giving more issue prior to sent it for repair, left no option and sold within 15 days for repair
  3. Samsung sub 15000/- handset (2012-2013) submit for repair, they ask to seat for 30 minutes, issue solved and keep using it for a year without issue.
It may also depend on type of parts got replaced, with Samsung it was just a charging Port with others some major issue, like network/flickering/Sound etc.

Yes, I have had couple of issues that I have gotten fixed from Samsung without any challenges.

1. I was facing some challenges with my S23 ultra during the first 6 months where I wasnt fully satisfied with the screen brightness vs what I know it can reach. Not a big defect but still probably a slightly defective unit. To my surprise, when I went to the service center they just replaced my phone saying that first 6 months there is some screen warranty. I still dont know if I was extremely lucky but it was a 20/10 experience for me
2. Got the battery replaced for my wife's s20fe after 3 years of use. Cost was something like 1300 including everything. I was like what! why is there so much drama and hype to avoid fast charging if battery replacement after 3 years is 'dirt cheap'.

Recently I got to see the Xiaomi 14 of a colleague. At 59K its no slouch and gives these popular phones a run for their money.
Do check it out, its available at Vijay Sales retail.

It indeed looks good hardware wise. IMO Software isn't upto the mark in Xiaomi now, I'd rate BBK's OS as better than Xiaomi's.

Points like more efficient chip & faster charging are indeed big advantages over S24.

Xiaomi is also far behind the likes of Samsung, Apple and Vivo when it comes to spare parts. I have seen so many who jumped ship because in just 2 years time, finding spare parts for Xiaomi premium phones is very hard. Not to forget their really poor track record in OS updates (Same version of OS comes with different Android version on different phones).

They make really good premium phones that puch way above their weight. The major issue for them is 'cheap phone company' tag that is stuck on them for eternity. 9/10 would say no when I suggest a Xiaomi premium phone. They want Apple or Vivo or Samsung if they are looking for premium phones and this is entirely to do with brand value and recoginition.
