Courier Service Feedback

I used First Flight for sending computer parts{Proccy,Mobo,GPU,RAM,HDD etc} to Delhi.

The package was delivered in less than 24hours. and without any tampering or damage

Total Price Was 10300 Rs. for both the rings with shipping and 15% Off,Max 500 Rs. coupon , Damn I'll Get refund for 9800 Only so my coupon got wasted in this mishap. and it was the first time i was buying item of more then 5000 rs. Worth and such a bad experience, you cant Imagine how i was feeling with an empty packet in my hand.
But thank God It was Insured.
 
Please avoid professional couriers at all cost for sending any electronic items, i had a bad experience with them, where they stole my wdtv which was shipped from Delhi, the reason i say stole is because it was not even shipped and disappeared even before reaching the airport.

I followed up with them for few months, my friend who had shipped the item filled the claim form,they said a refund check will be given of 5k, now their manager is not answering the phone and is avoiding all communication.

Bottom line they suck and to avoid professional couriers at all cost.

I have had good experiences with Blue Dar, first flight will recommend that anytime
 
In my point of view, Professional couriers is not that much bad. (NO, THEY DIDN'T PAID ME FOR WRITING LIKE THIS :tongue:)

I don't know much about shipping into the North, East and West sides of India. But in South, their service is one of the best. I've sent parcels to Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc.. All the parcels reach within 2 or 3 days. Till now I didn't faced any glitches. May be the service will differ from each and every branch. But on the website front, I agree. They didn't maintain it, tracking has to be done through phone only.

And DTDC is also doing good, but their shipping rate is somewhat higher than the other couriers.
 
hey is anybody facing any sort of problem with dtdc courier

recently 2 of my inbound parcels have been held up

is anyone else here also facing such issue with dtdc

Gati is pretty decent apparently although see if you can send it via DHL/Bluedart, have sent quite a few monitors through them and very satisfied

i think i'll go with gati....
as i don't have any other option available here also dhl is too expensive at 2.4k

These guys are WORST when it comes to updating the status on their site and are even slower than snail mail!

Rating: 1/5 (Only because I have to give something!)
 
DTDC is nice and good in most of their franchises. Just shipped 15 cabbies last saurday, most were delivered by wednesday :p Only issue is the North East India ground shipment, where some of the franchises act like a bunch of idiots and demand anything.

Anyone has had any experiences with PAFEX, especially their ground cargo ?
 
I sent 4 shipments via DTDC as far as Arunachal Pradesh, but a shipment meant for MUMBAI has been misplaced. I'm really disappointed in DTDC.
 
My feedback/experience goes as follows:

1. DTDC - 3/5

2. TNT - 3.5/5

3. Aramex - 3.5/5

5. Blue Dart - 4.5/5

6. DHL - 5/5

Professional Couriers - They should not be even called couriers! -3/5. Messed up all the 4 times. First time I had sent it and 3 times I was at the receiving end.
 
dtdc servics in my locality is very good ...i always receive my product within 3 days as i stay little outskirts of kolkata...never had any bad experiences....
