but nothing;s going to happen,

there's no accountability in INDIA,

i lost it and its never gonna come back!

DTDC will not heed to anything... they will simply deny any wrong doing to the package...

Tough Luck.. even eBay cannot help 'coz shipment was not insured.... :(

Same had happened with me once. But things that you have to do first:

1. Confirm that the stuff was not taken out at airports and then re-sealed again by DTDC and delivered to you.

2. If it's at airport it's lost FOREVER! DTDC will say you can get it back but believe me you can't ever.

3. If you are sure it was stolen by DTDC, get the contact details of the DTDC delivery guy who delivered to you and visit their office personally. (nothing on phone will do).

4. File a complaint in the local police station as well as consumer court. In police station you can file a complaint under theft charges. I know it will be a bit of pain but these guys understand THIS language only!

I had ordered a iPhone from TE member's section and mine too was stuck on those three holidays but status was shown as 'Delivered' at the bluedart site. However, things went fine in my case! What I came to know from my experience is that, all the courier companies allow their delivery guys to take the courier at their respective homes if it's late and they are unable to deliver it. It's not mandatory for them to bring it back to the office. This is where things must be going wrong!

as far as i noe the courier guys automatically insure computer stuff..it doesnt cost much???

it happened at the amritsar franchise where the parcel was lying for 3 days!

guys i am also stuck , I've ordered 2 diamond rings from vinus gems mumbai on 18 Sep and received the empty parcel which contained cash memo only without any rings.. on 25th. there were no phone no. on the sellers I.D so called the eBay guys they gave me his phone No. after 10 Mins. of Blah Blah . i called him and he said the item is insured, you just raise a item not receive dispute and i'll refund your money.

lol... definately not at airports then! So now delivery guys wearing jockey stuff huh! :D
BTW, even filing a complaint is LOT awkward in this case :D

exactly... but now u have better chance of finding it...just check the underwear and vest of the local DTDC guy :p

well i searched the entire TE looking for this courier feedback thread
i knew it was there but cudnt find it
and lol it was in the same very section
so had to start ranting in the ebay deals thread only :p
