Lol but even at 4Ghz that CPU will be slower then a 3.2-3.4ghz C2D's. And I seriously doubt you can run those presscot derivatives at that speed 24/7...
As everyone suggested dump that CPU, it was a failure for its time, forget present.
I will dump it when I get a problem in game.So far never had problems because of CPU.I genrally put shadow, physics quality down to maintain good fps.Going to purchase Vanquisher now.
My current CPU is good overclocker and I am planning 4.0ghz after I get Vanquisher .New CPU will mean new motherboard also as my current one supports only 65nms and has 800 FSB.
Arctic freezer 7 pro is good for getting temperatures down..
IMO it aint great for overclocking...
its heat pipe design isnt so great as it was when it was launched... 2 years or something back..
If you dont plan to overclock then its fine..
Prob is that the fans are fixed so you cant change for a higher cfm fan..
the bundled fan is silent but doesnt move much air..
you could have got the vanquisher or sccf...
once the xigmatek nepartak comes to india it will blow vanquisher and SCCF out of the window
Arctic Freezer 7 isn't best in its price range?Guys at techsupportforum recommended me to get that.Anandtech review also states it is better than many other's in the same price range.
This cooler was released long back right.
At that time it was one of the best coolers..
now all the good coolers use the heat pipe direct touch feature and have gone miles ahead of the freezer 7 pro..
but it is still good for keeping temps down at a relatively silent level..
but for the bets overclocking you need a better cooler..
the vanquisher or the new xigmatek nepartak are the best nowadays..
please check the review dates also when you look for reviews..

Got Arctic Freezer 7 pro yesterday. It is lot cooler than I expected. Now idle temp is 34-35 and while playing games 45-46 maximum
But unfortunately I have got another problem.Case temp is very high now.I don't have any fans in my case so would like to fit 1-2 exhausts.Suggests any good 90mm exhauts and if possible also the place from where I should buy. Also where fan's power cables are to be connected-on motherboard or on SMPS?
