^Actually its good news. Now we can expect a more polished and finished product rather than getting a buggy product and waiting for patches..

^^ Very True.
Or maybe this time they are waiting for some hardware to catchup to it :bleh:

Maybe some Ati 7870HD or a nVidia 680GTX or something similar....

LOL, that had to happen. Release a game on consoles first on the pretext of "refining the game for PC" and make money on it. Assassins creed and a host of other games have done that in the past.....

Unlikely. Methinks the requirement will not be more than Mafia II, might be even less, considering that CryEngine 3 is "optimized" for consoles. But I really hope they have different code to take advantage of high end PCs.

Ohhh, my bad...... I assumed its only the pc version thats getting delayed.

Quick question, since I have been out of touch with the latest hardware, I stumbled across this video of a guy benchmarking Crysis Warhead @1080p with Enthusiast settings and 16X QAA with his GTX480 in SLI. It's unbelievable, he's getting around 43-48fps. Now I was under the impression that applying slightest amount of AA in this game like a low blow to the graphic cards. Does this mean that the GTX480 in SLI is finally the pair which has pulled off the Crysis at maxed out setting?

I didn't check for an ATI equivalent benchmark, but this is quite astounding. Check out the video:

^IINM even the HD5850/HD5870 xfire can do that but SLI scaling is better than xfire. :)

But by Q1 2011, there are better cards to watch out for. :P

I think Crysis 1 AI was designed more for realism than for challenging gameplay. In real life,a bunch of Koreans with machine guns would look clumsy when fighting a high-tech super soldier in a nanosuit...:ohyeah:...
