Crysis 3 - Discussion Thread

Lets hope not,cry engine 3 itself has given the gpu's many tough renders,if cryengine 4 comes out we ought to buy HD78XX series gpu's.

I wouldnt call crysis "run of the mill". The suit augmentation does give the gameplay a lot of flexibility. It is just that noone uses it to much advantage. You can play some part of crysis 2 in pure stealth and pass without killing anyone.
 
Thing with Crysis 2 is the game was super-hyped and people expected a lot from it as much they did for Warhead and Crysis. It turned out to be decent for most of us and average for the rest. We shouldn't be expecting much TBH. It tends to be more rewarding this way.
 
To be frank, Crysis 2 was better than WARHEAD. I guess people complain mainly because they couldn't get the lush outdoor graphics as the original CRYSIS.
 
Crysis 2 was awesome ..except the ending left wanting for a lot more .. Which hopefully Crysis 3 will deliver.

It is a high tech crossbow. Imagine something in the likes of the arsenal the Predator has. Everything and anything that can be squeezed to fit into the creature's body armor. This is bound to be as good as the sniper rifle but with a slightly lesser range but a very high piercing ability that could take down the opponents in one shot if targeted carefully. I for one find the crossbow to be a good addition to the game. What needs to be seen is how well it performs.

Haven't you guys seen the torquebow used in Gears of War?
 
Really, people are trying to nit pick when the game hasn't even been announced.

Crisis 2 was a brilliant game. It had gorgeous visuals and frankly Battlefield 3 was equally hyped as far as visuals are concerned.

But it was also probably the weakest sequel last year, because of the severe limitation of game play.

Prediction :-

This looks like a stop gap release, after which they will put all their energies behind a new ip for next gen consoles.
 
Crysis 2 had gorgeous visuals, for a console game. In the PC it looked just bland. Battlefield 3, or for that matter, Bad Company 2's textures were far better than Crysis 2 at launch.

They did not even utilize 50% of what CryEngine 3 is capable of, hope they do it in Crysis 3.

Ofcourse it should be.But what i stated means the way they have displayed the new weapon in the cover art is just pathetic.Looks straightaway lousy with poor art sense.

Btw gears of war is something different.

(Overall I liked gears of war but not that much.

Actually i totally agree with dinjo here. Crossbow+Nano Suit is Absurd. Some other alien gun or etc would be atleast gullible but crossbow is a bit..eh?
