Custom Chip For PS3 JB

Yeah , all chips were tested. Btw, did you try it on the PS3 ? Try the JB on it.

Remove all cables, put it in the USB slot. Switch mains on , press power button and then keep eject pressed till the disc comes out. Then leave the eject key. Wait for the red led to flickr for a bit , then turn green.
 
hmm....you have to keep the button pressed continuously while inserting the chip into the usb port of your pc/laptop.

If you do this right, both leds should light up together and stay lit.

^Yeah a f/w issue. 3.30 it was on the PS3. :ashamed:

Downloading 3.41 now. It is 167 MB. The problem is even 3.42 is 167 MB. I hope I wouldn't be screwed. :ashamed:

ROTFL! You didn't even upgrade the firmware? Be very careful with updating the firmware and check the hash values properly. One wrong move and you're jacked.

It has been ages since I gamed on the PS3. :@
 
Check your PM. I have sent you the PS3UPDAT.PUP update version checker. This utility checks the correct firmware version in the .pup file. Good luck man and report back once it works. :)
 
This is not Hermes v4b but it will work with all current games

Btw , major movement in the scene. PSN access has been re-enabled for 3.41 however i am still vary. Will wait it for 10 days or so till Sony can show their move.

@Satan : Your chip should probably be reaching you tomorrow..
 
I am worried about 3.50 now. What happens when games requiring 3.50 is out? Particularly worried about AC: Brotherhood! :P

Haxors should hopefully have something up their sleeve. :ashamed:
 
Oh i forgot to mention... a method to spoof 3.50 is also out now :P

Will allow the first adopters to mess around with it. Give it two days and an all included version should be out XD

also how can i get one and whats the amount in Indian Rupee.

Simply put, it allows you to load Homebrew apps and back up and run your games from your HDD. It's not compatible with all the PS3 games, but all the major exclusives are working and tons of other mutiplatform titles too. You'll need a development/programmable board which allows a hex to be flashed onto it and then Jailbreak your console. Then load Open Manager software onto your console and start backing up your existing games. I'm not sure who retails these in India, but check with Dhruv and see if he can organise one. I think L33T Wizard had also got a different model, so you can check with him for the source. Amount would vary depending on the device being used.
