Yep. They are already planning on staff lay-off and it's not looking good. Just hope Metro: Last Light being delayed to next year, won't jeopardize it's future.
[/font]“Darksiders II is looking really, really good,†Bilson told RipTen. “It’s a huge game. It looks like… I don’t want to give the exact amount of hours of gameplay… but it’s a very, very lengthy and involved campaign. We’re going to give that team everything they need to make it as good as it can be.â€
When pressed further, Bilson admitted that a delay was possible, depending on how the game presented itself at the beginning of June.
THQ’s confirmed a delay for Darksiders II this afternoon, pushing the Vigil action title into August.
[background=transparent]The game was previously due to release in the US on June 26 and June 29 on PS3, 360 and PC. It’ll come to Wii U as a launch title.[/background]
In a FAQ, Vigil said the delay had nothing to do with aligning the game’s release alongside Wii U, but rather to do with the quality of the game.
[background=transparent][background=transparent][background=transparent][background=transparent]“The date was shifted to ensure we meet the high quality threshold that we are committed to achieving,†it said. “It has nothing to do with any other platform releases.â€[/background][/background][/background][/background]
[background=transparent][background=transparent][background=transparent][background=transparent][background=transparent]Exact release dates for each region will come in “days to comeâ€.[/background][/background][/background][/background][/background]
