@ Rohit----- I have PMed u also.....send me his address and mobile/contact no. A landline no will help in case he has parents living with him.
Remember he might dump his sim soon....so try and get the details asap...preferably registered address, bank address details etc !

And now he is avoiding you like plague.
I think personally you should have opted to take the phone and paid him the remaining 4K amount only after selling it on TE or ebay.
Atleast with that phone in hand you would have had a leverage. Even now i feel take the phone.
Best way is to ask suspecting people to do ebay listing. I always advocate that. Still try your luck other wise you can always post us his address and we can try our hands

Now if Rohit takes the SPica from him that solves his problem what about lethal??? He also needs to get back his money. Lethal you could ask ironman to pay you back whatever money he has on him for now.
Looking at the way things are going it looks like the phone the phone ironman listed wasnt his.

The phone ironman listed indeed wasn't his. It was his cousin's phone as he says. The money was transferred in ironman's account though so he is responsible person.
An it is amazing how this forum works, really appreciate the feedback from everyone in thread. And the fact that Khimera, Sandy and Supra offered to step in and help, thanks a ton guys, Khimera specially.
The phone, Samsing Spica is in Khimera's possession now, the guy just handed it over to him. So we know all is not lost. We can now work on getting the money back for lethal also, it appears that he will transfer the money after-all. In any case, we have more than enough details on him. Name/Address/Bank Acc Details, and my friend in vodafone has all details related to his cell phone number also.
A few things now,
1) What is the phone worth really? I have not the slightest clue, he says 11k. Is it really worth that much?
2) I don't really need the phone, but don't mind buying it and gifting it to a friend whose B'day is coming up soon. So please suggest. (but will need something for my mom again... duh..)

You should have consulted me before sending him the money. He tried to post something else in the thread, ask you for more money than he quoted and clearly looked unscrupulous. Had you done that we wouldn't end up in this.

spica sells for 11.5 -12 , with the mem card. so hopefully that is present too ... do check if all is working and is not bricked
and lethal seriously if a seller is saying he has to stop a previous sale with another guy , you should have been more careful and talked to the other person

But looks like things are getting back on track... I got a call from him about an hour back [surprisingly he called me this time] saying he will pay me the remaining amount of 2750 tomorrow. Kniwor will give me 4250.

Got a photocopy of the reciept, (He did not have the original with him but he talked to Kniwor and said he can courier it if he wants) box, handsfree, Charger and Datacable. As "claimed", the phone looks 2 months old. The bill says 14,200 including tax. Made a call, got a call,No physical damages(seems few scratches on the screen cover) so as far as this phone goes, i think it is fine. I am going to office now, So will be checking the phone in detail at night. And will be sending it by courier to Kniwor tomorrow
Edit : @Kniwor - Just saw Lethal's message. It is not a week old as claimed. According to the bill it seems to be two months old
