Dear Forum Members,

I was supposed to Purchase Nokia E71 from deepakc, for Rs.14000.00
I had made the payment of Rs.11500.00 as advance almost 20 days back.

During the period when the amount was to be transfered, he was in constant touch with me, after which he wouldnt pick up my calls... either his was busy or ringing all the time perennially.
After which due to some misfortune on his side, he called the deal off, and said the money would be transfred back into my account.
It has been 14 days since and he has yet not send any proof neither my bank sees the extra balance it should.

Again I tried calling him twice today was not able to reach him.
Deepak please transfer the amount IMMEDIATELY.

I didnt want to start this thread, but you forced me to.
You have my contact number please call me and clear up the matter URGENTLY
 
lol ... you should have been a bit more careful after knowing about the previous incident involving him

Hope both the cases are sorted out soon
 
Hmm this is a second incident of this Deepak guy. Lets hope he replies to you. try mailing him.
 
I called him up once again.

Said that he has transfered the amount.

Have asked him to email me the details

Since my bank does not show the balance will get back to you guys by tomorrow morning.
 
damm one more bad apple to bring in the bad name....hope he has a valid reason for all this...
 
What valid reason for 2 such deals? Any person who can mess around with someone's money is not excusable in my books. Doesn't matter if he does return the money in the long run.

But then I'm extreme. Hope it gets sorted out asap for both of u without any bad blood.
 
2 bad deals on a trot.....

Thats some hell of a bad luck, I think the mods needs to blacklist this guy till he sorts out the thing.

I have made numerous bank transaction, and no failures till now. Even if his bank is at fault he needs to change his a/c. Please do put up a notice for this. And no, dont tell me that I am not involved etc... how much ever mess you create\are in, you cannot shove it to someone else period.
 
Oh my this can be really frustrating ..... And as already said if the money transfer is the problem then he must do something about it .... Already two deals have been affected because of this .... After this he might find it difficult to find someone to trade with him .....

@hmasalia: I sure hope you get your money back soon ....
 
I was to buy a data cable from deepakc.
Not very interactive- never bothered to follow up.
Would just bump up the thread without checking with me as to why the cash wasn't there in his account, inspite of me being keen to buy the cable.
Claimed to never receive my PMs even though they showed up as read/delivered in my account. :S
But whenever i PMed for an account to xfer money to, reply was prompt.

Got an HDFC number.
I had issues with EFT for quite sometime.
I asked for an ICICI account number and finally i did manage to send money to his ICICI account but that bounced back.
He sent me his HDFC account number again but by that time, it was so late that my friend preferred to buy the stuff locally.
He mentioned i need to xfer 120/- bucks over the sale price of 250/- shipped and that wasn't making the deal vfm.
So backed out finally.
 
Well... just not picking up the phone or not even calling back after any kind of botch up is in itself inexcusable imo. Its hard to be confident enough with these online transactions even without this kind of crap.
 
Guyz While doing trade please remember these things. Would help in better transaction and transitions.

1.) please ask the Account Details of the Seller (ull Name(as in Bank Account), including his banks MICR Code, IFSC Code etc). Which would be useful for Interbank Transfers.

2.) Always verify the Sellers(Payee) Name in Account is correct, as you enter in online transfers.

3.) While doing refunds. Sellers should get the Buyers Full Name(as in Bank Account), MICR Code and IFSC Code and Branch Details of the Buyer.

4.) Collect contact numbers of Seller, Location etc.(will be useful for future contacts)

^^lol, u on a spamming spree? Exact same post on two threads? And do you think the OP is having a problem because he didn't do the above?

Thin line between being helpful and being condescending...
 
Hmm, It's sad that it comes to this. I almost bought the phone from him, but being wary of online purchases from individuals, I had requested a friend in Bangalore to personally check the phone (E71) and buy it if all is fine. My friend called and said it wasn't in the great condition that he said it was, and there were certain things like the cloth that's in the slot for the speaker/earphone was torn and there were a few scratches etc. - that it looked very much like a well-used phone, and that it was not at all "like new." So I ended up cancelling the deal.

While misrepresenting your product is bad enough, playing around with other people's money is unforgivable. I think he should be banned.

Well, Deepakc might be busy man as he told in the last feedback thread. :P But there is no excuse for not transferring money. ]
And if he has transferred the money, why is it taking 20 days. None of my transactions have crossed more than 2 working days till date.

I wonder which account he has...:bleh:

Deepakc, be a little more attentive to the buyers and sell off ur goods happily rather than being banned for being careless. Move on man...Grow Up and solve things before the warning becomes a ban. :rofl:
