Beautiful movie. Loved almost every bit of it 'cept for the ending.
This movie really shows how Bollywood is growing up and producing cinema with subtle undertones which make you think rather than over-the-top, dumb-if-you-miss-it kind of movies. The superb visuals and captivating new-age ARR music are coupled with the very natural acting by the entire cast. Abhishek Bacchan as the US-returned, accented (it's true, if you've lived in certain place for more than 5 years, your english accent changes but your mother-tongue remains the same), very unbiased Delhiite; Sonam as the smart but innocent middle-class girl pursuing a dream; even the support cast carry off their roles with aplomb.
Overall though, I found the movie to be more of theatre than your typical storyline based cinema. All the fantasies, the indirect references make it a great watch all throughout. The ending is a bit of a letdown compared to what the rest of the movie builds up to but it still leaves a smile on your face.
Loved it. Would definitely watch it again.

PS: There are a lot of people who're cribbin about the movie being nonsensical n there are an equal lot sayin it's "tryin to be creative". To the first lot, please don't compare to the usual straight-forward bollywood tripe wid defined characters and extremely dumbed-down plots for everyone to understand. To the latter, please show me any other mainstream movie which dares to be this subtle.
