I have a month old Inspiron Mini 10. I just called up Dell and the rep quoted me 8.5k for a 2 yr CC. I said thanks for the info and hung up the phone.

8.5k... are you serious !!!
 
Called them up to inquire about Dell CC and warranty. They deal with HP, Compaq and Lenovo. No DELL.

They offered me good discount almost 1k less then HP official quote. The salesperson (Krishna) was ready to collect money even from my home, but I visited their office to verify them. Too Bad :( . I got my HP laptop 2 yr extended warranty for 5.5k

Thanks for the info... So ARM is out of deal..

Lets check with other people too who can offer good rates.
 
I am interested too for extending my CC on my XPS 13. It will be out of CC in August and want to renew it before it goes out of warranty. Do let me know if anyone finds any good deals. Thanks.

Ditto. 3 year CC running out in the middle of Aug on my Vostro 1500 laptop.

Mate I am not in India so even if I buy Complete Care from India it wont be useful to me. When you are bargaining for so many people can you please bargain for one NBD extension for me as well if that is not much of a botheration. No issue if it is :)

I got a quote for 6400 for 1 yr CC and 11450 for 2 yr CC. Long story. Scroll down if you are really interested in the details.

NB: I got quotes for 6400 and 10900 from Dell about 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks later I got fresh quotes for 7400 and 11900. I forwarded the original quotes along and the rates were then cut down to 6400 and 11450 respectively.
 
Thanks for bargaining palemantle but I would like to point out that I am looking just for NBD warranty and not complete care as it is of no use to me. I am in UK and the CC wont apply here as it is in essence an insurance.

No apparently the 10900 deal was an offer that was going on for a couple of weeks. Would've taken the 2 yr CC at that price. I think I'm going to go for the 1 yr CC now.

Btw, I can't bargain for nuts, nor did I try in this instance. I simply forwarded their own quote to them and they slashed the rate for the 1 yr CC by 1 K. I've mentioned that some other folks might be interested. Haven't heard back from them.
