Suffering from jaundice

Recently after cleaning the monitor it has developed yellowish stain all over the screen. I think I pressed the screen too hard while it was warm. If anyone wanna use it as a 2nd monitor then let me know. I was using it for designing and now it is not useable.

@WR4P-TP - Have you checked for the NIGHT LIGHT setting in the control panel for the second monitor? That yellow tint on the monitor is similar to the night light setting.

Also relevant to check the monitor cable. Faulty cable can also give this weird color. I once had a faulty DVI cable which was giving blue tint.

Most likely the internal ribbon flex cable moved when you pressed. Open the display and rub the contacts of flex cable on both ends with a non dust eraser and plug it back in.

Alternately, you could try slapping the display on the display a few times. It'll fix the issue or not.

Has water/ moisture seeped in? Or this is just due to "pressed the screen too hard"? Can you leave it running for a few hours for it to warm up fully and see if this gets solved?

Definitely not a moisture issue. Delhi is currently hot & dry. Happened right after cleaning/rubbing the screen.
