This is intresting.

Dont we get better deals if taken from a dealer and not the dell call centre?or are the rates pretty much the same?

The inspiron 15R is pretty good. I have seen it personally. Thats why i recommended this to my friend over Vaio VPCEB14EN, which i own.

from where di u source it , did u order online from dell india or any local dealer ??

at 400 rs, cant complain. Methinks I gave it to my sis, is probably lying at home somewhere. I went with the PL 11's
