EDIT: Hey Renegade , i didnt put any TE window hereas some of the icons and TransBar is same as above. Temme if i should take another screenshot with TE window by its side? Thanks ..

lol same. What's the use of an empty desktop.
I use smaller 16x16 icons though.

Which is that foobar UI you're using?

Please do that.. make it very small if you think that it would interfere with the rest of the stuff.. we just need a small task bar to certify.. but I must say the TE webpage makes your desktop look much better.. :P

Na re! WB a strict no no on my comp after it crashed regularly in its 2nd release.. but have heard its 5th version has significant improvements, will be tryin that out.

Just a query , why do u ask so much abt WB man? I mean yea its good no doubt but it does crash frequently if u use many resource consuming apps. And have come across many pure msstyles which give a better UI than WB. WB doesnt let u customize how u want it, u just have to stick to predefined standards ( unless u have SkinStudio and have patience to modify the skins ;) ). I dont like it and dont support it either.

My suggestion check ur taste and work ur desktop according to it! Check out on net for various GUUIstyles that suit ur use and mod on it. Its better than just going around and installing what ppl have done to suit themselves.

EDIT : Here it is! A new Mac feature depicted: Roll Windows

The drive windows can be rolled up or down and their activity can be shown on the transbar.

 
pretty cool neuro, ditto the request that x86 made. A walkthrough somewhere as to how did u go about doing that & any technical restraints (RAM) for display would be helpful in formulating a strategy. Good work hence repped u.

a variation of someone's ColumnsUI settings i found on the foobar forums. loaded his then modified a bit myself. i don't use transparency though... it makes everything else sluggish.
 
@digital brain : a tip for you..to get rid of that DAMN 'security centre' frm showing messages. u can disable the security centre by run-->msconfig-->service-->[tick out the security centre & restart] :)

i see ony am the aston shell user here...;)
 
hey supersaiyan,i have aston but dont used them anyway.. BTW long time back had this desktop

and oh....

i know how to remove them :P WSC->change the way security centre alerts me->disable all also does the job......i just reinstaleed Xp yesterday so forgot to remove all those M$ craps .. he he he ..

Best is to put away all icons except your internet connection and instant messenger on Always Hide through Hide Inactive Icons under Taskbar Properties.

How many times does one need to change the volume or firewall settings anyway.
